Welcome to RentMyScreen, a subsidiary of ReachMeMobile, based in Phoenix, Arizona. What is our story? How did I come up with the concept of RentMyScreen?
It is my belief that your digital space is your real property, like real estate. Can you capitalize on it? Yes, now you can.
It was in the late 90’s, when I was relentlessly getting unsolicited ads popping up on my computer screen, that the concept of RentMyScreen came to me. I questioned the advertisers’ infringement on my digital space. It was annoying, unauthorized by me, not desired, and furthermore, there was nothing in it for me.
A few years later, after I became a Realtor, I began to view personal property as analogous to personal digital property. I wondered, “Why can’t you rent-out your digital space, selectively, only to advertisers of your choice, and benefit financially from it?” You own your digital space, and if an advertiser should wish to advertise on it, the advertiser could pay you directly for using that space. An advertiser would not have to pay big media companies and other internet seach engines to each you. Thus, RentMyScreen was conceived.

RentMyScreen mission is to empower consumers and provide them with a complete control of their digital space.
How it Works
With RentMyScreen, ads will be solicited and controlled by you, based on your immediate and future needs, and you will be able to change the ads you receive as often as you would like. For instance, if you are looking for a car, you will only receive a very limited number of ads from your preferred dealers and car manufacturers. After you purchase your car, you can request that your ads be changed to other products and services you are looking for.
Consumers receive select ads based on their immediate or future needs and get cash back of in the amount of $30 to $50 per month or they may use this cash benefit to lower internet service charges or cell phone bills. The ultimate goal is to give maximum value for renting.
Later, this ad platform will also be used for consumer driven targeted communications, if consumers opt in to be part of this evolving mobile media.
The RentMyScreen model is highly targeted to various demographic segments. In contrast to other mobile advertising models, it is the most cost effective, compelling, highly scalable, and very profitable mobile advertising model. It can also be customized to specific industries, B to B, and B to C markets. Additionally, small businesses can also make some significant savings on their monthly internet and cell phone expenses.
The ultimate objective is to help members get a fair value for the use of their digital space.
Validation and Protection
This concept and business model for an idle screen was independently validated by an independent research study conducted by: Lead authors (July 2009) - George Voulgaris PhD, University of Glamorgan, Wales. Andreas Constantinou PhD, Research Director.
Unofficial surveys done in one of the demographics showed that over 68% of the participants would sign up for RentMyScreen and allow that ads and content be delivered to their cell phones and other digital space.
RentMyScreen has a patent pending status with the U.S. Patent office.
Use of Funds
The funds will be used to develop a business model for Android, Iphone, and Windows Mobile. The balance will be used for marketing and operating expenses for the first 9 months. We are expecting to be cash flow positive within the 1st year of operations.
